Feature Spotlight: Video Collaboration
We know that collaboration can be a huge part of songwriting. Songcraft makes it easy to invite collaborators and cowrite in real-time, from lyrics to chords to audio recordings. Integrated text chat and inline comments make communication quick and easy.
However, sometimes it takes a video call to share an idea or hash out a song. There’s no need to wrangle your collaborators and launch a separate video chat app. With one click, Songcraft will launch a video conference for your song’s collaborators.
To join a video collaboration:
- Click the video icon in the top right toolbar of a song:
- This will launch an entry screen which shows you which collaborators are already in the call. It also allows you to choose your display name for the call.
- When you’re ready, click Join Video Call, and the call will launch in a new window. Only song collaborators will have access to the call.
